Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. This new curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).
We offer training towards the CCNA in two modes. The first is to follow the official Cisco Network Academy program. This Program is broken down into 4 separate 12-week courses, CCNA1 - CCNA4. Each weekly session takes place in our purpose built training facility and is three and a half hours long, combining lectures and practical lab exercises on our extensive range of Cisco equipment in house.
The second mode of training is aimed at candidates who may have already studied the CCNA curriculum and are looking for a consolidated revision course, or those who work with and have knowledge of the above technologies and protocols and who wish to have that knowledge honed to the exam criteria. This course takes place over 5 full days and again combines lecturers with extensive practical lab exercises that are now an important component of the CCNA exam.
